Qwest phone directory

If you haven’t heard of Qwest phone directory, you must be hiding under a rock. Qwest has always been the number one provider in phone directories, as well as many other great services.

When people are asked about Qwest, primarily the first thought that comes into their heads, has to do with the Qwest phone directory. Everyone receives their own directory delivered to their doorsteps normally once a year. If you are uncertain what a directory is, it’s a phone book which many people still use today as a means to get the numbers they are seeking.

However the Qwest phone directory does not just rest in print, you can also access information via the internet. Qwest has their own website set up just for your phone number inquiries. Qwest teamed with a company referred to as Dex Enterprises in 2002. Dex and Qwest decided to come to an agreement to help Qwest further extend the phone directory experience.

The Dex Corporation convinced Qwest to join the internet world. This was a great advancement not only for the two corporations, but for everyone. Today people are allowed to view all the phone numbers that they can bare through this online directory.

No one can match the amount of time that Qwest has put into making it accessible for us to all know the numbers we ponder about. Qwest is a company that can never be duplicated on the fine job that it does. If you don’t believe that Qwest deserves praise for its phone directory, then something is wrong with you. Let’s review over a scenario with Qwest not in the present picture.

Let’s say you want to order out. However, you do not have the number or the location of the place that you wish to obtain food from. What do you do? Most people would say dial 4-1-1. However, what you may have not noticed is 411 keeps a directory because Qwest sends it to them. You would be completely out of luck. You would need to drive around, until you find the place that you wish to eat at. This would in the long run, waste you time and money. No one wants to have to leave their homes once they have had a long day at work unless it is completely necessary.

A world with a Qwest phone directory would be a world of a lot of confused people. Businesses would suffer immensely if they were not able to get their phone numbers and addresses out to the public. We would still have our local newspapers, but they would not be able to provide anywhere near the amount of information that a Qwest phone directory provides.

Rest assured ladies and gentlemen that the Qwest phone directory is not going anywhere. This directory has been a part of how we live for decades, without it many people would be lost. Thank you, Qwest for providing all of us with the easiest way to find phone numbers without any hassles.
