Qwest offers local and long distance telephone services along with a number of other telecommunication services. Qwest telephone offers both local and long distance services with a variety of packages. This is so that you pay only for the features you want, leading to savings.
Qwest Telephone – Local Services
Qwest telephone offers three types of local services: Basic, Choice Home, and Choice Home Plus. There is a one time activation fee for these services.
The Basic plan offers you the most basic of features with unlimited local calls at less than $15 per month. You can go online and send faxes, and if required you can add any or all ten features on offer at a price. The ten features on offer are:

- Voice Mail
- Line-Backer™
- 3-Way calling
- Last Call Return
- Call Forwarding
- Call Rejection
- Continuous Redial
- Security Screen™
With Choice Home you get to make unlimited calls too. You get the choice of any three of the above ten calling features and an additional feature of Six Free Qwest 411™ Directory Assistance Calls for free. You also get the option of adding a second line at only $10 per month extra. A single line plan is offered at just less than $30 per month. The three calling features are available with the first line only.
The Qwest Choice Home Plus offers more features than the Choice Home. Unlimited calls plus any ten of the above 11 features on offer. You have a choice of 2 lines for an added $10 per month. The single line Choice Home Plus offer is available for just less than $35 per month.
Qwest Telephone – Long Distance Services
Qwest telephone offers three long distance plans to its subscribers. These are: Qwest 5 Cent Plan, Qwest 15 Cent Single Rate Plan, and Qwest Unlimited.
The Qwest 5 Cent Plan comes with an offer of $5.99 per month and you can make long distance calls anywhere in the United States for 5 cents a minute.
The Qwest 15 Cent Single Rate Plan is offered for a low $1.99 a month. You can make your long distance calls for 15 cents per minute with no restrictions on calling time.
The Qwest Unlimited comes with a tag of $25 per month. You get to make unlimited calls across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. You pay an extra $15 a month when you bundle this plan with Qwest Choice Home or Qwest Choice Home Plus Plans. The Qwest Unlimited plan is only for domestic subscribers and not for businesses.
Qwest telephone also offers a number of International calling plans. One multilingual calling plan offers calls to more than 200 countries. There are other plans that allow calls to Mexico, Canada and other Latin American countries.
